As part of Talkdesk’s International Expansion business plan, we plan to recruit an EMEA-based attorney (preferably and to be located in Lisbon, Portugal).
Provide legal counsel on a broad range of international commercial and regulatory matters, including consumer protection, privacy and data protection laws and regulations, to ensure that Talkdesk follows applicable legal and regulatory requirements, as well as industry best practices.
Support international product launches in the EMEA, APAC, and LATAM, and other countries.
Work with local counsels to develop practical solutions to regulatory challenges in multiple jurisdictions.
Work closely with other members of the U.S. legal team to address the company's compliance obligations, including assisting in closing and revenue contracts.
Help develop scalable processes to manage international expansion and allow the business the flexibility necessary to move quickly.
